FAQ

You’ve got questions…We’ve got answers!

1. Why is alcohol not an ingredient in Hexistat?

Many people suffer adverse reactions to alcohol, which is toxic. Hexistat’s active ingredient is Benzethonium Chloride, combined with Chlorhexidine Gluconate, a non-toxic ingredient that provides fast-acting protection against a wide range of micro-organisms.

 2.  How does Hexistat provide extended protection?

In addition to being non-toxic, Chlorhexidine Gluconate also offers the unique ability to safely bond to the skin, creating an added layer of long-lasting protection not available with products that use alcohol, iodine or other skin disinfectants. A typical application protects for several hours.

3. Can Hexistat be used on the face?
